Rescission of IPS(Special Allowance) Rules, 1977.

The Central Government, after consultation with the Government of the States concerned, hereby rescinds the Indian Police Service (Special Allowance) Rules, 1977 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number GS.R. 649(E), dated the 18th October, 1977, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

G.S.R. 18(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the Government of the States concerned, hereby rescinds the Indian Police Service (Special Allowance) Rules, 1977 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number GS.R. 649(E), dated the 18th October, 1977, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
