Sub: Revision of rate of remuneration to Medical Practitioners on Contract basis (CMPs) and revision in honorarium of Part-time Dental Surgeons.

Vide Railway Board letters referred to above, the rate of remuneration
payable to Medical Practitioners on contract basis (CMPs) and to part-time Dental
Surgeons was advised.

The matter has been reconsidered and the Board (MS, F C & CRB) have

1. For Medical Practitioners on Contract basis (CMPs):
(a) The monthly remuneration payable to CMPs engaged on full time basis on Railways be revised as under.

| Specialist (1st Year) | 95,000/- |
| Specialist (2nd Year onward) | 1,05,000/- |
| Super Specialist | 1,15,000/- |
(b) All other terms and conditions as laid down in Railway Board’s letter
no. 96/E(GR)II/9/16 dated 23.02.2000 and as amended from time to time shall
remain unchanged.

2. For Part-time Dental Surgeons:
(a) The remuneration payable to Part-time Dental Surgeons working for four
hours be revised to Rs 36,900/- per month and for those working for two hours be
revised to Rs 18,500/- per month.

(b) All other terms and conditions, as at present, will remain unchanged.
(c) Necessary amendment to IRMM will be issued separately by Health
