Indian Railway Management Service (Amendment) Rules, 2025: Notification No. G.S.R. 745(E) dated 09.10.2025

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th October, 2025

G.S.R. 745(E).–––In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following further amendments to the Indian Railway Management Service (Group ‘A’) Rules, 2022, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement:-

1) These rules may be called the Indian Railway Management Service (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.In the Indian Railway Management Service (Group ‘A’) Rules, 2022, in Schedule-III, against serial number 8, relating to the Duty post of Junior Time Scale, in column (3)-

(a) after the words, “ Executive Director in Establishment” the following words shall be inserted, namely:-

“or Management Services”;

(b) for the words, “Executive Director in Management Services Directorate of Railway Board”, the following words shall be substituted, namely:-

“Executive Director of the Indian Railway Management Service sub-cadre concerned of Railway Board”.
