Sub: Completion of Mandatory Courses and Comprehensive Assessment on iGOT Karmayogi platform – regarding.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 04.07.2025 and subsequent extension issued via O.M. dated 18.03.2026 regarding the mandatory completion of courses and comprehensive assessments on the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
2. As per the revised timelines, the last date for Central Government employees and officers of the All-India Services (AIS) to complete at least 50% of their prescribed annual courses and pass the Comprehensive Assessment has been extended to 30th April, 2026.
3. Data from the iGOT portal as on 07.04.2026 indicates that while significant progress has been made, a large number of officials are yet to meet the mandated targets:
- The overall completion rate for 3 or more APAR-tagged courses stands at approx. 56%.
- The completion rate for the Comprehensive Assessment is significantly low at around 18%.
4. In view of the fast-approaching deadline, all Ministries/Departments and Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs) are requested to issue necessary instructions to all concerned for timely completion of the mandated APAR courses and Comprehensive Assessments on iGOT before 30.04.2026 or before finalising the self appraisal in APAR, whichever is earlier.
5. To have seamless experience and to avoid peak-hour server congestion on the iGOT platform and potential delays in the automated fetching of completion data into APARs , it is advised to complete the mandate courses and assessment well before the mandated timeline.
