Sub: Discontinuation/De-empanelment of existing CGHS empanelled Health Care Organisations (HCOs) whose empanelment has not been renewed – CGHS, Prayagraj – reg.

Ref.:- O/o. the Director, CGHS, (MoHFW) New Delhi’s O.M. F.No. 5-34/CGHS(HQ)/HEC/2025 dated 15.09.2026.

In pursuance of Ministry’s Office Memorandum dated 15.09.2026 (copy enclosed) on the subject mentioned above, the following HCOs whose empanelment has not been renewed, shall be discontinued/de-empanelled from the CGHS, Prayagraj panel and blocked/deactivated on HEM/TMS 2.0 with effect from 16.09.2026 at 12.00 AM as per the terms and conditions laid down in the said O.M.

Subject:- Discontinuation/De-empanelment of existing CGHS empanelled Health Care Organisations (HCOs) whose empanelment has not been renewed – reg.

Ref: (I) Office Memorandum F.No. 5-34/CGHS (HQ)/HEC/2025 dated 15.08.2026 regarding extension of deadline for execution of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by existing empanelled Health Care Organisations (HCOs) under CGHS.
(II) Office Memorandum F.No. 5-34/CGHS/HEC(HQ)/2025 dated 22.12.2025.

1. With reference to the above mentioned OMs, it has been decided that the HCOs, as per the list enclosed as Annexure-I, whose empanelment has not been renewed, shall be discontinued/de-empanelled from the CGHS panel and blocked/deactivated on HEM/TMS 2.0 w.e.f. 16.09.2026 at 12:00 AM. Registration of new patients (fresh OPD registration/new admission) at the said HCOs shall also stand blocked with effect from the same date and time.

2. CGHS beneficiaries who are already admitted and undergoing treatment (in-patients) in these HCOs prior to the aforesaid date and time shall be permitted to continue and complete their treatment under CGHS credit facility, as per the existing authorization, applicable CGHS terms and conditions and existing package rates. The concerned HCO shall not deny treatment or discharge such patients prematurely on account of this discontinuation/de-empanelment. No fresh registration/pre-authorization shall be allowed in respect of these HCOs after 16.09.2026 at 12:00 AM.

3. The above HCOs shall, however, be free to apply for empanelment afresh, as and when they fulfil the prescribed empanelment criteria in future.

4. Eye Hospitals/Centres which have been permitted to continue on the CGHS panel up to 30.09.2026, in view of the pending court matter and the time granted for fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, shall not be covered under the present discontinuation till 30.09.2026.

5. All pending CGHS credit bills (in-patient as well as out-patient) in respect of the discontinued/de-empanelled HCOs shall be submitted within 45 days from the date of discharge (for IPD treatment), or from the date of last consultation (for OPD consultations), ог from the date of the investigation report (for OPD investigations/diagnostics), failing which the bills shall be liable to be rejected/time-barred.

6. No fresh credit facility shall be extended to CGHS beneficiaries by the discontinued/de-empanelled HCOs on or after 16.09.2026, other than for cases covered under para 2 above.

7. The discontinued/de-empanelled HCOs shall not use the CGHS name, logo, or empanelment status for any advertisement or promotional purpose from the date of discontinuation/de-empanelment.

8. CGHS beneficiaries currently undergoing treatment/investigation at the above HCOS are advised to shift to any other CGHS empanelled HCO for further treatment, except where continuation is permitted under para 2 above.

9. The bank guarantee, furnished by the discontinued/de-empanelled HCOs shall be dealt with as per the terms and conditions of the empanelment agreement, after settlement of all pending CGHS dues/claims.

10. This discontinuation/de-empanelment shall not affect any disciplinary/recovery action already initiated, or to be initiated, against the above HCOs under the terms of the empanelment agreement.

11. All Additional Directors/Joint Directors of CGHS and all CMOs I/C of CGHS Wellness Centres are directed to give wide publicity to this Office Memorandum and to guide beneficiaries accordingly.
