Sub: Clarification on travel by Premium Special Trains while travelling on Ty. Duty/LTC/PT.
Indian Railways have introduced Premium Special Trains on certain routes which have dynamic ticket pricing, but no guidelines have been received regarding the admissibility of fares during PT/Ty. duty/LTC. Hence, a clarification has been sought from HQrs office, New Delhi on the above subject. Accordingly, it has been advised by O/o the CGDA, New Delhi to provisionally restrict the TA Claims pertaining to Premium Special Trains to normal train fare in the entitled class”, pending receipt of any Govt. orders/ guidelines on the above subject. Hence, it is requested to all concerned to inform their employees and TA claims may be preferred accordingly when journey actually performed in Premium Special Trains having dynamic ticket pricing.
