No One Rank One Pension to Paramilitary Forces and matters regarding Special Pay, Leave at par with Army referred to 7th CPC: Minister replied in Rajya Sabha

(a) whether it is a fact that the paramilitary forces have started demanding one rank one pension, if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether it is also a fact that they are also seeking parity in special pay, leave, etc.; and

(c) if so, the views of Government in this regard?

(a): There have been some requests demanding One Rank One Pension on the line of demand in Defence Forces. There is no proposal under consideration of the Ministry on the issue.

(b) to (c): Proposals regarding granting of Para Military Service pay and enhancement of casual leave at par with Army have been received in this Ministry. The same have been referred to the 7th Central Pay Commission for consideration.

क्या गृह मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि :


(क) क्या यह सच है कि अर्धसैनिक बलों ने वन रैंक वन पेंशन की मांग करनी शुरु कर दी है, यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है;  
(ख) क्या यह भी सच है कि वे विशेष वेतन, छुटि्टयों आदि के संदर्भ में भी समानता की मांग कर रहे हैं; और 
(ग) यदि हां, तो इस संदर्भ में सरकार के क्या विचार हैं?

(क) : रक्षा बलों में मांग की तर्ज पर वन रैंक वन पेंशन की मांग वाले कुछ अनुरोध सामने आए हैं । इस मामले पर इस मंत्रालय में कोई प्रस्ताव विचाराधीन नहीं है ।


(ख) और (ग) : इस मंत्रालय में अर्ध सैनिक सेवा वेतन एवं सेना के समान आकस्मिक अवकाश में वृद्धि प्रदान किए जाने के प्रस्ताव प्राप्त हुए हैं । उन्हें विचारार्थ 7वें आयोग के पास भेज दिया गया है ।
