This Directorate has been circulating guidelines on air travel on official tour issued by the Nodal Department from time to time.
2. It has been observed that the guidelines regarding air travel on official tours are not being followed strictly. It is felt necessary that the extant air travel instructions are re-circulated among all offices.
3. A copy of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance Office memorandum no. 19024/22/2017-E.IV dated 19.07.2017 and 27.02.2018 on the subject mentioned above are enclosed for wide circulation and strict compliance.
