Sub: – Discontinuation of Fee Payment through Challan at the counter of Union Bank of India -reg
Madam /Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above, it is stated that competent authority of KVS has decided to withdraw the option of payment of fees by the students through off line mode (payment of fees through challan at the counter of Union Bank of India) with effect from 01.4.2026. As such, challans for off line fees payment shall not be generated by the UBI Fee Portal System from 01.4.2026 onwards and challan already generated before 01.4.2026, if any, shall also not be valid for payment of fees at the Branch of Union Bank of India. However, following options for payment of fees through online mode, already available in the system, will be continued.
- Debit Cards — Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay, etc.
- Credit Cards — Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, etc.
- Internet Banking / Mobile Banking
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Bharat Bill Pay-enabled channels/apps supporting multiple payment modes
- POS Machines (wherever there is no bank branch within a radius of 8 km from the Kendriya Vidyalaya)
All the Deputy Commissioners are requested to disseminate the contents of this letter amongst the students and all other stake holders before 31.3.2026 so that the students/parents may not face any problem in payment of fees from 01.4.2026 onwards.
