Sub: Recruitment of staff in Level-1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix on Indian Railways – modifications of criteria of replacement panel regarding.
Attention is invited to Board’s letter no. E(NG)II/ 2022/RR-1/8 dated 15.03.2022 vide which Zonal Railways were advised to seek replacement list from Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) for Level-1 recruitment as per their needs and availability of vacancies in the event of any shortfall on account non-joining /resignation/demise of the candidate within the stipulated period.
2. The decision has since been reviewed and it has been decided that no replacement panel are to be given against non-joining//resignation/demise of the selected candidates as recruitment in the Pay Level-1 is now done annually.
3. The above instructions will be applicable in all future recruitments from Open market in Level-1 and to the notification issued under CEN 08/2024.
