Please find enclosed herewith a correction slip regarding correction in Para- 6 & 7 of Part-I of Chapter VI of RPF Establishment Manual, 2019 regarding Management of Armourers & Dog Squad Posts in RPF, which is self explanatory.
This is for information and necessary action please.

CORRECTION SLIP-4
Para 6 & Para 7 of Part-I of Chapter VI of RPF Establishment Manual, 2019 may be deleted and the following may be inserted as under:
Para 6. Staff posted on ex-cadre post in a higher rank than the one held by him in his parent cadre, will be entitled for pay commensurate with the rank held by him in the ex-cadre post. Staff posted on the ex-cadre post in the same rank as the one held by him in the parent cadre will continue to receive pay as drawn by him in his parent cadre.
Para 7. Induction of RPF/RPSF staff against the ex-cadre Posts shall be by transfer on deputation basis as under:

2) One ASC/AC, 3) An Expert in arms who has passed Armourers Course Class I be co-opted. |
| 3 | Sub-Inspector | ASI/SI with two years regular service, must have completed Armourer Course Class – II and having four years experience as Armourer in any rank. | 1) Three DSCs/Commandants,

| 4 | Inspector | Sub-Inspector/ Inspector with two years regular service, must have completed Armourer Course Class -I and having five years’ experience as Armourer in any rank. |

Para 7.1- In the event of qualified candidates post screening being more than the vacancy in a particular rank, first of all those higher in rank will be appointed. In respect of those qualified having the same rank, their merit reflected by the marks obtained in the screening test will be taken as the basis for appointment.
