Sub: Promotion to the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari in Group ‘A’, Level 10.
Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 24.09.2025.
Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 24.09.2025 vide which promotion of 10 (ten) Senior Translators of Official Language Department of various Railways to the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari in Group ‘A’, Level 10 was advised.
2. In this regard, Para 3 and 4 of the above mentioned letter dated 24.09.2025 may be modified to read as under:
“3. In terms of Note 1 in Column 11 of Recruitment Rules dated 16.03.2023. they are required to successfully complete training of at least six weeks in the field of Official Language as prescribed from time to time, either before promotion or within a period of one year from promotion.
4. On completion of their probation period, the concerned Railways may take necessary action for their confirmation in the grade of Rajbhasha Adhikari, which is to be done by the Departmental Confirmation Committee at Railway level itself, as prescribed in Column 12 of the said Recruitment Rules dated 16.03.2023. The date of confirmation of each candidate in the grade of Rajbhasha Adhikari may be advised to Board.”
