Navy (Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment Regulations, 2026. : Notification by Ministry of Defence. Official Gazette notification regarding amendments to Regulation 59 of the Navy (Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 1965, concerning the processing of service applications, issued by the Ministry of Defence dated  23-09-2026.

S.R.O. 55(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 184 of the Navy Act, 1957 (62 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Navy (Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 1965, namely: –

1. Short title and commencement — (1) These regulations may be called the Navy (Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment Regulations, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Navy (Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 1965, in Regulation 59, in sub-regulation (9), for the word “requestment”, the words “processing of service application” shall be substituted.
