ADDENDUM
Subject: Categorization of Government officers for entitlement of Daily Allowance on official tours abroad.
Reference our Order of even number dated 17th July 2012 regarding categorization of Government ‘Officers for entitlement of Daily Allowance on official tours abroad.
2. Doubts have been raised regarding implication of the above order on senior officers who have fixed Pay scale, since DA is linked to Grade Pay. This addendum is issued to clear such doubts. Necessary corrections have been made to Para 1(A)
3. The entitlement of Daily Allowance on official tours abroad shall be the following:

Officers drawing Grade Pay below Rs. 5400 per month and

Officers drawing Grade Pay below Rs. 1800 per month and
below |
33% of full DA
|
4. The rest of the terms and conditions of the said order will remain the same.
