Subject: Credit of Past Accumulations of non-UAN members of Exempted Establishments/ Trusts who have submitted proposals for surrender/ cancellation of Exemption.

Sir/Madam,

You must be aware that vide Head Office Circular No WSU/Past Accumulations/ E-683907/2025-26/19 Dated 25.04.2025, the requirement of Aadhaar for generation of UAN/ Credit of Past Accumulations for non-UAN members of Exempted Trusts, was relaxed. Simultaneously, a software functionality was also made available to field Offices in the FO Interface for bulk generation of UAN’s in all such aforementioned cases.

In view of this, CPFC has directed that the said functionality be used and Past Accumulations of all such non-UAN Trust members be uploaded and credit given to all such members positively by 30.06.2025 in the following scenarios

(i) In cases of cancellation or surrender of Exempt Trust which have already been approved by CBT or are already notified by the appropriate Government.

(ii) In cases where proposals for cancellation or surrender of Exempt Trusts are under examination or consideration.

It is however, reiterated that no debits (transfer/withdrawal) are to be allowed from such UAN’s until the completion of the Aadhaar seeding in the respective UAN’s.

An action taken report on the aforementioned instructions may be submitted by 30.06.2025 in the following format.
