New Division with headquarter at Jammu Tawi under Northern Railway with effect from 01.06.2025: Notification dated 29.05.2025

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th May, 2025
F. No. 2023/E&R/1(1)/2 (Pt.).โ1. It is hereby notified for general information that Central Government hereby constitutes a new Division with headquarter at Jammu Tawi under Northern Railway with effect from 01.06.2025.
2. The aforesaid new Division shall have jurisdiction in respect of the areas as indicated in the Table below:

3. Consequent upon formation of new Jammu Division, the Firozpur Division shall exercise control over revised jurisdictions, which will constitute existing jurisdiction of Firozpur division, except the above sections.
4. The divisional boundaries between the new Jammu division and Firozpur division will be at KM 27.750 on Jalandhar โ Pathankot Section and at KM 39.150 on Amritsar -Pathankot section.
