Federation(AIRF) vide their agenda item no. 22/2025 requested to provide another one time relaxation to Appendix-2 qualified Accounts Clerks for promotion to the post of Jr. Accounts Assistant against DR quota over one of the Zonal Railways. The matter has been examined in Board’s office and it is hereby advised that Zonal Railways should explore all possibilities to resolve the issue at the level of Railways. The higher grade posts in the category of AA can be downgraded by the competent authority in the Railway and the resultant vacancies can be bifurcated in the Direct Quota (DR) and Promotional Quota (PQ). Promotion can be given against the resultant PQ posts in the category of JAA. Action may be taken on the aforesaid lines.
