Dearness Allowance from July, 2016: Employees are eligible for 3% not 2% – Confederation

After the news coming in media that DA will be announce in todays’ Cabinet Meeting the Confederation has published the message on his blog that they have requested to JS (Pers) DOE to consider the representation of the Staff Side with regard to the calculation of DA percentage.

DA DUE FROM 01-07-2016

In the JCM Standing Committee Meeting, the Staff Side expressed their concern that DA due from 01.07.2016 is not yet announced by the Government. We requested to JS (Pers) DOE to consider the representation of the Staff Side with regard to the calculation of DA percentage. According to the DA index Central Government Employees are eligible for 3% DA and not 2 percent. The JS (Per) informed that the representation of the Staff Side is under consideration and Government would take a decision very soon.

my basic pension was Rs 14185 before 7CPC implementation. After multiplying by 2.57 now it comes to Rs.36456 If 6%DA wef 1/7/2016 on pension of 14185 was given it would have come to Rs.852/- But now on 36456 DA released is 2% which comes to Rs.730/- There is clear loss of (852-730) Rs.122/- per month. Is it fair on the part of GOI?
