(b) MoD ID No. 23(1)/2017/D(Works-II) dated 10 May 2018 forwarded vide this office letter No. 76002/Ist CR/BS Cadre/CSCC dated 16 May 2018.
(c) MoD ID No. 23(1)/2017/D(Works-Il) dated 17 Sep 2018 forwarded vide E-in-C Branch letter No.76002/Ist CR/BS Cadre/CSCC dated 08 Oct 2018, modifying their letter dated 15 Dec 2017 and 10th May 2018 as contained therein.

2. DoP&T has observed certain procedural and other discrepancies in Sanctioning of 1% Cadre Review dated 15 Dec 2017 of Barrack and Store Cadre. Accordingly MoD has directed E-in-C Branch to review the Cadre Review proposal vide their letter No. 23 (1)/2017/D(Works-II) dated 17 Sep 2018.
3. Based on the directions of MoD, E-in-C Branch, with the approval of Competent authority, has issued a convening order to constitute a Cadre Review Committee vide letter dated 20 Dec 2018.
4. In vide of the above, undersigned is directed to convey that, this HQ letters dated 21 Dec 2017 and 16 May 2018 mentioned at para 1(a) &(b) under reference are to be kept on hold and Status–quo continued to be maintained till review is finalized by competent authority, which will be Subject to outcome of Hon’ble CAT Jammu Bench, Jammu, OA No. 61/500/2020 (Old OA No. 060/001 152/2018).
5. This has the approval of E-in-C.
