Sub: Inclusion of ministerial staff Vacancies of Security Department in LDCE Selection Conducted by Personnel Department.
Attention is invited to this office letter of even no. dated 01.04.2025 vide which it is clarified that Personnel Department, in consultation with the Security Department of the Zonal Railways, may simultaneously advertise 20% LDCE quota for OS (Level 6) post in the Ministerial cadre of the RPF.
2. In continuation of clarification issued vide letter dt.01.04.2025 ibid the matter has been further considered on the request of Security Dte. and it has been decided to include the vacancies against LDCE quota of Ministerial Categories of Security Department also in the LDCE Selections conducted by Personnel Department i.e. Zonal Railways, may simultaneously advertise vacancies against 13.33% LDCE quota for Senior Clerk (Level 5) and 16.67% LDCE quota for Junior Clerk (Level-2) of the Ministerial cadre of the RPF also, as and when selection against the same take place. A common examination may be conducted for these LDCE quota vacancies applicable to both the Ministerial categories of the RPF and the other Ministerial categories.
3. However, separate merit list shall be drawn: one for vacancies within RPF cadre from Ministerial personnel of Security and another for vacancies in non-RPF categories from other Ministerial candidates. Ministerial personnel of Security Department will not be eligibe for vacancies in the other Ministerial categories and vice versa.
