Sub: Guidelines for issues reported by Users while applying Digital Signature in GIFMIS -reg.
While processing payments on PFMS platform, the GoI Treasury Users are required to apply Digital Signature to mark their decision whether returning/passing the bill and also for signatories apply DSC on final payment through banks. It has come to light that several users have reported issues while applying DSC on payment files in GIFMIS.
In this regard, an enhancement has been made in the DSC application, therefore, it is advised that a Revised Window DSC utility should be installed by following the below mentioned steps.
(a) Un-install the already installed DSC Application (Go to Control Panel → Program and Features → Right Click on Digital Signature Certificate and Click on Uninstall)
(b) Install the latest version of DSC Application (Login Into GIFMIS → Go to Masters → DSC Management → Enroll DSC Win App → Click on “Download Window DSC application” hyperlink → Open downloaded DSC Utility → Run “PFMS DSC Set up”)
