Non adherence of transfer policy in CGHS

(a) & (b) Transfer / postings of Ayurvedic doctors and other staff in CGHS are made regularly depending upon the requirement and exigencies of administration. The details of transfers made during last two years in respect of Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacists in Delhi/NCR may be seen at Annexure I and II.

(c) & (d): The present incumbent is posted as CMO in charge of Ayurvedic Stores since 2007 in view of his being one of the senior most Ayurvedic physicians in Delhi and is allowed to continue in view of the exigencies of administration and public interest. While no posts are specifically identified as sensitive under CGHS, efforts are made to periodically transfer the doctors.

540. SHRI BASHISTHA NARAIN SINGH:
Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether it is a fact that the transfer policy of Government is not being followed in the Ministry in respect of doctors and other staff in CGHS Ayurvedic dispensaries;
(b) the details of the transfers made during the last two years in CGHS Ayurvedic dispensaries in Delhi;
(c) the reasons for CMO Incharge, Bikaner House Ayurvedic Store still there in position despite a specific provision that this being a sensitive position no person should be allowed to continue for more than two years of service; and
(d) the action being contemplating to enforce Government”s transfer policy in this case?
