The Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare is organizing a Pre-retirement counseling workshop on 30th July, 2014 from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM in the Conference Room of Department of Administrative Reforms, 5th Floor, Sardar Patel Bhawan, New Delhi. My humble submission as solution for implementing OROP, since Govt is not able to allot appropriate fund to clear the long pending issue of OROP. why not to start paying to ESM in phased manner, implement the enhanced rate of pension to all ESM, Phase 1, pay the arrears to veterans 60 years and above, why they should be paid before others? because the number of 60+will be less than others, veterans get less pension in comparison to ESM who retired after 5th CPC. rest of the ESM may be paid in 2nd phase, because those ESM who retired after 5 and 6th CPC can at least manage till they get their arrears. please release order for new pension from AUGUST. this will help ESM to bear the heat of inflation.
