RESTORATION OF SERVICE ELEMENT OF DISABILITY PENSION

1117. SHRI ANUBHAV MOHANTY:

Will the Minister of DEFENCE be pleased to state:

(a) whether an order has been issued vide No. 1(9)/ 2006/D(Pen-C) dated 30th August, 2006 regarding restoration of service element of the disability pension of defence personnel;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the service element of the disability pension has been granted to the affected officers who approached for its restoration;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

MINISTER OF STATE (SHRI AJAY BHATT)
IN THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

(a) &(b): Yes, Sir. Implementation order of MoD letter No. 1(9)/2006/D(Pen-C) dated 30.08.2006 in respect of non-regular officers has been issued to all Pension Disbursing Agencies (PDAs) vide Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, PCDA(P) Circular No. 2 bearing No. G-1/M/02/ICOs/XII dated 17.11.2006.

View: Non grant of Service Element of Disability Pension to Disabled Personnel with less than Minimum Qualifying Service: Status on the recommendations of the Raksha Mantri Committee

(c) to (e): Yes, Sir. Service Element of disability pension has been granted in all cases.

1117. श्री अनुभव मोहंतीः

क्या रक्षा मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि :

(क) कया रक्षा कर्मियों की नि:शक्‍तता पेंशन के सेवा घटक की बहाली के संबंध में दिनांक 30 अगस्त, 2006 के क्रमांक 1 (9)2006/डी(पेन-सी) के अंतर्गत आदेश जारी किया गया है;

(ख) यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्‍या है;

(ग) कया विकलांगता पेंशन के सेवा घटक की बहाली के लिए संपक करने वाले प्रभावित अधिकारियों को यह प्रदान किया गया है;

(घ) यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है ; और

(ड.) यदि नहीं, तो इसके क्या कारण हैं ?

(क) और (ख): जी, हां । अनियमित अधिकारियों के संबंध में दिनांक 30.08.2006 के रक्षा मंत्रालय के पत्र सं. 1(9)2006/रक्षा(पेन-सी) का क्रियान्वयन आदेश सभी पेंशन संवितरण एजेंसियों (पीडीए) को दिनांक 17.11.2006 के प्रधान रक्षा लेखा नियंत्रक, (पीसीडीए (पी)) के परिपत्र सं. 2 के तहत सं. जी-1/एम/02/आईओएज/॥ के दवारा जारी किया गया है।

(ग) से (ड.): जी, हां। सभी मामलों में नि:शक्‍तता पेंशन संबंधी सेवा घटक प्रदान किया गया है।
