Sub: – Restructuring of Pointsmen Cadre—regarding.
The issue of cadre restructuring of Pointsmen Cadre was examined in consultation with Ministry of Finance. Keeping in view of functional, operational and administrative requirements, the following cadre structure as mentioned in table below has been approved by Ministry of Finance and approval for the same has also been accorded by the Hon’ble President:

2. Above structure shall be effective from the date of approval granted by the President i.e. w.e.f. 03.04.2026. Detailed instructions for implementing above structure shall follow.
3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
