OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Automatic shifting of Tenure Pool houses which remain unalloted for two consecutive months from Tenure Pool to General Pool.
It has been observed that a Large number of various categories Government quarters placed in Tenure Pool remain unallotted for months together whereas there is acute shortage of such units in the General Pool. Earlier, such houses which used to remain unallotted for three months were being transferred manually from Tenure Pool to General Pool on month to month basis.
2.         The issue has been examined at the appropriate level and it has been decided that such Tenure Pool houses which remain unallotted consecutively for two months, be shifted from Tenure Pool to General Pool through the system automatically. The system will transfer such unused units before last day of each month. It has also been decided that the houses which have remain unallotted for two or more months as of now may be shifted from Tenure Pool to General Pool manually so as to put them in the waiting list for allotment in the coming month.
3. This issues with the approval of Minister of Urban Development.
