Subject:- Monitoring of Promotion in Ministries/Department by the Cabinet Secretariat Quarterly report for the period of Apr-Jun, 2025-reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to the MoHUA’s O.M No. O-16014/1/2025- ADMN-V-MoHUA dated 03.07.2025 (copy enclosed) enclosing therein the DoP&T’s O.M. No. 4301 1/2/2024-PP(D) dated 17.12.2024, D.O. of even number dated 18.03.2025 on the above-mentioned subject and to request to provide the Quarterly Report (Apr-Jun, 2025) in the attached prescribed format.

2. In view of the above, the Quarterly Report on promotions for the Quarter (April to June, 2025) may be provided POST WISE as per attached prescribed format to this office latest by 11.07.2025 positively on email id nilanjan.karmakar[at]gov.in & soec/cpwd[at]gmail.com so that consolidated information may be forwarded to MoHUA for further submission to DoPT. All the concerned offices are requested to provided the information related to all the posts in whose respect promotion is dealt by them.

Subject: – Monitoring of Promotion in Ministries/Departments by the Cabinet Secretariat – Quarterly report for the period of Apr-Jun, 2025 reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to Department of Personnel & Training O.M. No. 43011/2/2024-PP(D) dated 17-12-2024 followed by reminder D.O. of even no. dated 18.03.20250n the above subject with request to submit quarterly report in prescribed format. The report seeks Ministry wise details of the average time taken in processing case by Ministry vis-a-vis the timelines specified in the Model Calendar and the promotions effected within these timelines.

2. It is,therefore, requested to provide quarterly report for the period of April-June, 2025 in the attached format to Admn. V Section, MoHUA positively by 15.07.2025 by e-mail to [[email protected]] and [[email protected]] so that consolidated information may be forwarded to DoPT.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 17.12.2024 (copy enclosed for ready reference) seeking details from Ministries/Departments in the prescribed proforma relating to action taken for effecting promotions in respect of cadres and services administered by them for Vacancy Year 2025, as per Model Calendar issued by DoPT vide O.M. No. 22011/4/2013-Estt. (D) dated 8.5.2017.

2. The Report was to be sent to this Department by 2.1.2025. However, the Report is still awaited from several Ministries/Departments. an

As DoPT is required to send a complete Report to the Cabinet Secretariat containing information in respect of all Ministries/Departments, it is requested that information in the enclosed format, may please be sent to this Department (in physical form) by 31st January, 2025 positively.
