Sub: Retention of Railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of DRM, Rayagada (RGDA) – reg.
On consideration of a request received from East Coast Railway, the Full Board in the exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, have decided that DRM/RGDA (a newly formed Division) may be permitted to retain Railway accommodation at previous place of posting on payment of normal rent till a suitable accommodation is provided to DRM/RGDA by ECoR.
2. Once an earmarked quarter for DRM/RGDA is allotted by ECoR, the instructions contained in para-1(vi) of Board’s letter No. E(G) 2021 RN 2-2 dated 01.07.2022 may be followed.
3, Zonal Railway are also advised that a suitable official accommodation may be arranged for DRM/RGDA at the earliest under intimation to Board.
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
