Sir,

I am to refer to your RTI application dated 02.12.2019, a copy of which was received by the undersigned on 20.12.2019, through the RTI Cell of this Department, on its transfer from Department of Pensions and Pensioners Welfare — vide their letter No. 518/1.F.C./2019 dated 11.12.2019.

2. It is informed that no general instructions/guidelines/OMs /Orders have been issued by this Department on the issue of grant of one notional increment on 1st July of any year for. the purpose of Pensionary Benefits, for such employees who retire on 30th June of that year. It is further informed that the Court case related to Shri P. Ayyamperumal [WP No. 15732/2017] quoted by you in your instant RTI application was handled in Department of Revenue. A copy of your instant RTI application is being forwarded to Department of Revenue for  providing information available with them, if any, directly to the applicant.

3. Shri A.K. Jain, Deputy Secretary (Pay), Department of Personnel & Training, Room No. 222 A, North Block, New Delhi-110001 is the Appellate Authority in terms of Section 19 of the RTI Act. In case you are not satisfied with the reply, you can file an appeal with him within 30 days.
