Sub:- Clarification regarding Land license fee charged to Govt. Aided school.

The issue regarding the applicability of land license fee for Railway land leased/licensed to Government-aided schools, at par with Govt. schools, has been examined in the Board’s office.
It has been decided with the approval of Board that the provisions for charging nominal land license fee, as stipulated in Railway Board’s letters dated 05.11.2001 and 10.04.2003 for Government schools, shall also be applicable to Government-aided schools functioning on Railway land up to the date of issuance of the Master Circular on Policy for Management of Railway Land dated 04.10.2022. Subsequently, the land license fee for such schools shall be governed by the provisions contained in the Master Circular dated 04.10.2022.
This issues with the approval of Board (MI, MF and CRB&CEO).
