Sub:- Grant of Deputation (Duty) Allowance in cases where the basic pay in parent cadre has been upgraded on account of NFU, MACP, NFSG, etc. in the 7th CPC context — clarification regarding.
Consequent upon acceptance of the Recommendations of the Seventh (7th) Central Pay Commission, instructions issued by DOP&T vide their O.M. No. 2/11/2017-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 24.11.2017 amending the rate of Deputation (Duty) Allowance and the related conditions have been adopted & circulated on Railways vide Board’s letter No.F(E)I/2017/DE/1/2 dated 26.12.2017.
2. Now, DOP&T, vide their O.M. No. 2/11/2017-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 15.03.2021 has issued some clarification regarding admissibility of Deputation (Duty) Allowance in terms of Note-2 & Note-3 below para-4(d) of OM dated 24.11.2017. These instructions shall apply mutatis-mutandis to Railway employees also.
3. A copy of these instructions is sent herewith for information/guidance, which shall take effect from 1th July, 2017.

विषय: 7वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग के संबंध में एनएफयू, एमएसीपी, एनएफएसजी, आदि के कारण मूल संवर्ग में मूल वेतन के उन्नयन के मामलों में प्रतिनियुक्ति (ड्यूटी) भत्ता प्रदान करने के संबंध में स्पष्टीकरण।
7वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग की सिफ़ारिशों को स्वीकार करने के परिणामस्वरूप कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग के दिनांक 24.11.2017 के का.ज्ञा. सं. 2/11/2017-स्थापना (वेतन-II) के तहत जारी अनुदेशों में प्रतिनियुक्ति (इयूटी) भत्ते की दर में संशोधन किया गया था और इससे संबंधित शर्तों को बोर्ड के दिनांक 26.12.2017 के पत्र सं. एफ(ई)II/2017/डीई/1/2 के तहत स्वीकार किया गया था और रेलों में परिपत्रित किया गया था।
2. अब, कार्मिक एवं. प्रशिक्षण विभाग ने दिनांक 15.03.2021 के अपने का.जा. सं. 2/11/2017-स्थापना (वेतन-II) के तहत प्रतिनियुक्ति (इयूटी) भत्ते की स्वीकार्यता के संबंध में दिनांक 24.11.2017 के कार्यालय ज्ञापन के पैरा-4(डी) के नोट-2 एवं नोट-3 के संबंध में स्पष्टीकरण जारी किया है। ये अनुदेश यथोचित परिवर्तनों सहित रेल कर्मचारियों पर भी लागू होंगे।
3. ये अनुदेश, 1 जुलाई 2017 से लागू होंगे। इन अनुदेशों की एक प्रतिलिपि सूचना/मार्गदर्शन हेतु संलग्न है।
