4. The distribution of posts grade-wise and Unit-wise is indicated in the Annexure I to this sanction.
5. Posts of RRBs (19 JAG posts of Member Secretary, 01 SS post of Secretary and 20 Gr ‘B’ post of Assistant Secretary) which were left to be included in the provisional sanction, have now been included in the final sanction after consultation with the concerned Railways.
6. It has been decided by Board vide letter E(GP)2007/2/50 dated 14.11.2019 that post of Protocol Officer shall be designated in Group ‘B’ and rest of the similar designation shall cease to exist. Therefore, the post of Protocol Officer in Sr. Scale has not been considered in final sanction and each Zonal Railway (16) has been provided 02 posts each of Protocol Officer in Gr ‘B’ and 06 PUs have been given 01 post each.
7. Railways may operate post of Dy CVO against General admin post, however, post can not be earmarked for particular Deptt. (such as Traffic, Mechanical, Signal etc). Hence allocation of Dy CVO’ posts to the Railways has been done irrespective of the department assigned to it.
8. It may be noted that 11 SAG, 01 JAG and 01 Gr B posts of Genl. Admin, which have been temporarily transferred from the parent Railway to other Railway/Units, have been shown against their parent Railways/Units only and their operation will continue at the transferred Railways/Units till further orders. Details of these posts have provided in Table-J of Annexure-II.
9. Also, 03 posts (02 JAG and 01 Gr B) which were transferred temporarily from CORE to CLW vide Sanction dated 01.05.2024 have now been allotted permanently to CLW. Additionally, 16 posts (06 JAG, 01 STS and 09 Gr B) have been allotted to the needy Units to meet their requirements. Details of these posts have been provided at Table-K of Annexure-II.
