Sub: Facility of change of name on concessional tickets.
Ref: CC 14 of 2017 dated 31.01.2017.
Please refer to the instructions referred to above wherein it has been informed that the facility of change of name shall not be permissible on the tickets issued on concession.
2. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided that the facility of change of name may be extended to the attendant of PwD on the concessional ticket booked by them as per provisions of Railway Passengers (Change of Name) Rules 1990 subject to condition that the change of name does not involve any grant of refund or payment of difference of fare.
3. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly.
