Subject: Standard Operating Procedure for Customer ID Merging for PLI/RPLI Policies
This is regarding issue of Standard Operating Procedure for Customer ID Merging for PLI/RPLI Policies.
After deployment of Functionality of Customer ID Merging for PLI/RPLI Policies, customer can now merge their customer IDs for all type of policies into one, so that they can keep only one login for all policies. Accordingly a need was felt to issue a SOP document containing Step-by-step instructions that. will help the officials as well as customers to complete Customer ID merging operations. The purpose of this document is to define the process flow for Customer ID merging. Every customer should have a unique Customer ID so that it would be easier for end user to keep track of their customers.
This document will help all officials to do the task of customer ID Merging of all PLI & RPLI Policies in the same manner every times and will reduces the miscommunications and will ensure efficient output while performing this task in the field at the time of policy Servicing.
It is, therefore, requested that annexed SOP may be circulated among all concerned in the circle for information and strict compliance. Besides, this feature may also be widely circulated amongst all PLI & RPLI customers.
This issues with the approval of competent authority.
