Sub:- Reiteration of instructions regarding posting of staff in Reservation Cell and functioning of Liaison Officers for SC/ST/OBC.
Ref:- Board’s letter of even No. dated 07.03.2023 and 21.04.2023.
The first Informal Meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the All India SC/ST Railway Employees’ Association(CEC/AISCTREA) for the year 2025, held at the Railway Board on 20.11.2025, under the chairmanship of DG/HR. One of the Agenda Item of the said meeting was posting of adequate staff in Reservation cells.
2. In this connection, attention is invited to the Board’s letters of even number dated 07.03.2023 and 21.04.2023 regarding the effective functioning of Liaison Officers for SC/ST/OBC matters and the posting of Law Assistant/Chief Law Assistant in the Reservation Cell.
3. As such, the instructions contained in the aforesaid Board’s letters are hereby reiterated for strict compliance by all Zonal Railways, Production Units and PSUs.
