A copy of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA)’s Gazette Notification No. PFRDA/16/14/06/0009/2018-REG-EXIT date 12th December, 2025 on the above subject is enclosed for information and compliance. The portion of the Notification concerning “Government Sector Subscriber” shall apply mutatis-mutandis on Railways.
2. The Fundamental Rule 56 and the Central Civil Services (Implementation of National Pension System) Rules, 2021 mentioned in the ibid notification corresponds to Chapter 18 of Indian Railway Establishment Code Vol. II, (1987-Edition) and Railway Services (Implementation of National Pension System) Rules, 2025.
