Subject: Travelling Allowances & Daily Allowances (TA&DA) for ECHS Polyclinic Staff – reg.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to MoD letter No. 24(3)/03/US(WE)/D(Res)(ii) dated 09 Sep 2003, under Para 9(a) of Part VI-Revenue Expenditure amended vide GoI, MoD, DoESW letter No. 22D(09)/2014-WE/D(Res) dated 19 Jun 2015 and to convey the sanction of the President of India for the following provisions governing Travelling Allowance for ECHS Polyclinic Staff as below.
2. The equivalence of ECHS Polyclinic Staff with Armed Forces Personnel as below:

| (v) | For Civilian Employed Non Medical Staff including Driver and Data Entry Operator | Pay Level 3 |
| (vi) | For Ex-Servicemen Employed Para/Non Medical Staff | As per the entitlement based on the last pay drawn at the time of retirement |
3. Further, the entitlement of TA/DA for ECHS Polyclinic Staff of Nepal will be applicable as per following for travel within Nepal:

(c) US$ 12 per day beyond 21 days | TA will be admissible to staff of ECHS Nepal in accordance with entitlement of service personnel of equivalent Pay Scale/Grade Pay/Pay Level in Armed Forces within India as per GoI, MoF letter No. 19030/1/2017-E-IV dated 13 Jul 2017 |

4. The entitlement of TA/DA for ECHS Polyclinic Staff of Nepal will be same as applicable of TA/DA entitlement of Polyclinic Staff of India when the Temp duty performed in India.
5. This issues with the concurrence of MoD (Finance/Pension) vide their ID No. 33(220)/2015/Fin/Pen dated 04.07.2025.
