Subject: Removal of ceiling limit for empanelment of Health Care Organizations in ECHS -reg

Reference MoD DoESW ID No 22B(02)/2020/WE/D(Res-1) dated 30 January 2020 on formulation of guidelines for Screening Committee for consideration of empanelment of applications of hospitals in ECHS.

2. The Competent Authority has now decided to remove the ceiling limit for empanelment of HCO’s based on the number of beneficiaries in a location and categories of cities added vide above mentioned MoD ID dated 30 Jan 2020. Henceforth new applications from NABH/NABL/QCI accredited HCOs be approved as similar to CGHS empanelment policy.

3. This issues with the concurrence of MoD(Fin/Pen) vide their ID No 32(01)/2020/Fin./Pen. Dated 23.07.2025.
