CGDA has instructed to all Pr. Controllers/Controller to nominate an Officer for countersigning the application forms received from the retired Defence Civilians for grant of CSD Canteen facilities:-

Subject: Grant of CSD Canteen Facilities to retired Defence Civilians,
Reference ‘ This office letter of even No dated 14.08/2015
A copy of the DDGCS letter 96301/Q/DDGCS/Policy dated 12.08.2015 regarding CSD Canteen facilities to retired Defence Civilians. is forwarded herewith for information and necessary action. The letter is to be given wide publicity by displaying on the notice boards/ websites.
2. Further, attention is invited to point 7 and 9 of the letter wherein action to be taken on the part of the Department from where the Officer/ employee has retired has been mentioned. The Pr. Controllers/ Controllers are requested to nominate an Officer not below the rank of an Under Secretary to Govt of India or equivalent for countersigning the application forms received from the applicants.
The orders should be promulgated and the details be forwarded to DDGCS, Army Headquarters, New Delhi.

Dear sir, you have comment that order has issued defense civilian family pensioner to csd facility on 10.03.16 but when i go the csd canteen in kanpur in canteen manager not given the application i show the your letter Govt of India, MoD vide letter No. 8(14)/2015 dated 04 Mar 2016 has extended Canteen facilities to family pensioners of retired Defence Civilian employees.but canteen manager say that he has no order issue defense civilian family csd and he no new application form for defense civilian family pensioner were he indicate him self he is defense civilian family pensioner (widows). Dear Sir now how much time to wait for the extension for csd facility to defense civilian family pensioner kindly look into the matter ..& give the instruction air force canteen manger that now is applicable Defence Civilian family pensioner .

Why DDG CSD not plan to extending the facility to defence civilian family wife (widows ) pensioners CSD facility however the Retired Defence Civilian Employees and Family Pensioners. The term DAD Pensioners includes within its ambit the Family Pensioners are equal, as they are drawing pension authorized by PCDA(P) Allahabad.please do not make any difference Kindly look into the matter ..

Is this facility available for widows of Ex Defence Civilian employees or not. Request, please clarify
The recent letter from Defence accounts deptt. dated 20.10.2015 given clarification sl. no.d) that there is no distinction between retired defence civilian employees and family pensioners. letter No. is AN/VII/7063;CSD/MIS dated 20.10.2015 refers, letter available at CGDA website.
