Postgraduate Medical Education Amendment Regulation, 2020: Various Modifications/ Additions/ Deletions/ Substitutions

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd September, 2020
No. MCI – 18(1)/2020-Med./118224.—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 33 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Board of Governors in Super-session of Medical Council of India with previous sanction of the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the “Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000” namely:—
1. (i) These Regulation may be called the “Postgraduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulation, 2020.”
- (ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the “Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000”, the following additions/ modifications/deletions/substitutions, shall be as indicated therein:-
3. In Schedule of the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000, Clause “A” under the heading “M.D.(Doctor of Medicine)”, the following shall be added after, M.D.(Marine Medicine):-
“M.D.(Laboratory Medicine)”
