(b) the details of total new jobs given in Railways, Zone-wise, from 2016 to 2020, year-wise; and
(c) by when Government is planning to fill-up various vacant positions in Railways, year-wise details for the next three years?

Occurrence and filling up of vacancies is a continuous process and the vacancies are filled by placement of indents with recruitment agencies as per operational requirements. Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Railway Recruitment Cell (RRCs) are regularly providing panels of successful candidates to Railways/Production Units concerned. Arising of vacancies is an ongoing process due to retirements, promotions, deaths, resignations, etc., and the same are filled up through open recruitments and departmental promotions are per the existing rules. 03 Centralized Employment Notification (CENs) for total of 1,40,640 vacancies of various Group ‘C’ posts (including Level-1 have been issued.
