Sub: Revision of pension w.e.f. 01/01/2006 of pre-2006 pensioners who retired from the 5th CPC scale of Rs. 6500-10500 or equivalent pay scale in the earlier Pay Commission periods-reg.

Ref: (i) NFIR’s PNM Item No. 28/2019.
(ii) NFIR’s letter No.II/35/2020 dated 16/09/2019.
(iii) Railway Board’s instructions issued vide letter No.D-43/43/2020-F(E)III dated 28/07/2020 (RBE No.58/2020).
(iv) Railway Board’s reply to NFIR vide letter No.2016/F(E)III/1(1)/7 dated 24/11/2020.
(v) NFIR’s letter No.II/35/2020 dated 25/11/2020.
(vi) Railway Board’s letter No.2016/F(E)III/1(1)/7 dated 24/12/2020 to GS/NFIR.

While going through the contents of Board’s letter dated 24/12/2020 addressed to GS/NFIR, Federation desires to state that the specific case and consequent anomalous situation arisen pursuant to the issuance of concordance Table No. 24 & 25 vide MoF’s O.M. dated 28/06/2019, has already been furnished to the Railway Board vide GS/NFIR’s letter dated 25/11/2020, which perhaps has not been linked properly in the Board’s Office.

7th Pay Commission: Railway Board clarification on restriction of Officiating Pay under FR-35 detailed FAQ alongwith suitable illustrations

The Federation while enclosing copy of its letter dated 25/11/2020 once again requests the Railway Board to frame proper reply to the MoF in reference to their O.M. dated 04/11/2020 for the purpose of awarding justice to the seniors who were in Pay Scale Rs. 2375-3500/7450-11500 at the time of their superannuation. Copy of Railway Board’s reply to MoF may please be sent to the Federation for follow up action.
