Sub: Opening of Offices of Pr. AOs/PAOs on Saturday and Sunday till 31st March, 2026 – regarding.
The undersigned is directed to convey that all Principal Accounts Offices and Pay and Accounts Offices under the administrative control of the Office of the Controller General of Accounts of India shall remain open on all Saturdays and Sundays or any other public holiday, as and when required, up to 31st March, 2026.
2. This arrangement has been made to ensure processing, passing, and timely clearance of bills, and to facilitate the smooth closure of accounts and completion of year-end financial transactions for the Financial Year 2025-26.
3. All concerned offices are, therefore, requested to make necessary administrative arrangements accordingly to ensure uninterrupted functioning during the month of March, 2026.
4. This issues with the approval of the Controller General of Accounts of India.
