Seventh Pay Commission and Merger of DA: Demand by Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel

NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP today termed hike in dearness allowance (DA), proposed to be announced by the government, as ‘too less and too late’ and demanded its merger with the employees’ basic pay. 
“In the wake of rising prices of all essential commodities, inflation has been hurting not only government employees but also the poor and the middle class. The latest DA hike proposed to be announced by the government is too less and too late,” said Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel. 
Goel said the Fifth Pay Commission had recommended that if the DA crosses more than 50 per cent then it should be clubbed with the basic pay. 

“This provided some relief to government employees. But this was discontinued in the Sixth Pay Commission. Thus, at present, DA is more than 80 per cent of the basic pay but it is not made part of the basic pay. Now, the DA is expected to increase by 10 to 11 per cent but the government is not waking up,” he said in a statement. 
The Delhi BJP chief said the government should set up the Seventh Pay Commission.

    I am working in a policy Division of a Ministry of GOI, in our Divn. there is no difference in nature of work of UDC or Asstt. Even UDC are expected to do more work than that of Asstt. Even SO treats Asstt at par with since, SO is SO (Adhoc) and if Asstt clears departmental Exam. to become SO, Asstt will become senior to SO for the time being. Under Secretary respects Direct Asstts. because he belongs to his family. Where UDCs are expected to do all sorts works of higher in nature, which I donot want to explain here, since it is known facts in the Central Ministries. As far as gross salary of UDC and Asstt is concerned, there is a huge gap of around 15000/-. After joining as D.R. Asstt, they will be given 3 months trg. and for 1 or 2 years they will learn work from UDCs and before he starts working, he will clear SO Exam. Since 4 complete CRs or 5 years approved service for considering them for SO grade. Where as even after putting more than 20 years of service total service in the CSCS, UDCs are being biasedly. RR are being recasted to see that, they are becoming a threat to the CSS cadre. Even in the Combined Depttl Exam. for 2009, 2010 and 2011 one CSCS fellow scored 1st Rank Examinees. That itself shows that, CSCS cadre people are also of higher calibre. I donot know y everybody are neglecting CSCS people. I really want to write more, since time is not permitting me.   • i am direct head constable radio operator in signal staff during 2003 year but my basic pay 8960 and grade pay 2800 after obtaing macp but actul my basic pay less than constable , minstrial staff who is recruited with me on 2003 become asi/ro , but i have no any promotion no any moral up making fool in this force , mis. staff having qualification is 10+2 with typing, our qualification is 10+ 2 with non medical, i do all duties , min. staff doing only office duties , kuch nahi ho sakta bas kaat rahea hain bye

  • i am direct head constable radio operator in 2003 and still head constable no promotion no any promotion course done by me and basic pay 8960+ 2800 grade which is less than constable it is not corrected up to date making fool in this force after recruited , no any futuer no hope only do for live , ministrall staff become asi/m who recruited in this force with me our qualification 10+2 non medical ,ministrial staff is 10+2 with typing speed 40 words per minute, signal staff duing duties of genral duties staff also, but ministrial staff only duing his duties , nothing more by hum kuch kar nahi sakta hain

    Most of the younger generation are getting out of prestigious organizations like ISRO,DRDO because of the way they have been paid compared to the private sector, Iam not saying they should be paid on par with private employees all iam saying they should get paid according to the economic changes happening. If the situation continues India will be decreased from developing countries to under developed contries in future as other countries govt are trying to improve the economic situation ours is declining

    It is the time for govt to take decision for central govt employee to give him hierarchical promotional grade pay under Macp to give him justice otherwise there are no option for central govt employee to go on strike.

    AFTER SERVING FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS OR MORE IN THE GRADE PAY OF RS.4600/-, THE OFFICIAL IS ENTITLED TO ONLY NEXT GP @ 4800/- WHICH IS TOO LOW AN INCREASE. HAD THE ACP CONTINUED ON COMPLETION OF 12 YEARS HE /SHE WOULD BE PLACED IN THE NEXT HIERARCHICAL PAY SCALE. HENCE THE MERE INCREASE OF RS.200/- IS UNJUSTIFIABLE. GOVT SHOULD RECONSIDER THE ISSUE URGENTLY
