ARMY WELFARE PLACEMENT ORGANISATION (AWPO)

1.  AWPO, a welfare and non profitable organization providing jobs to Veterans, Veer Naries and their wards since 1999. More than 1.5 lakhs personnel are registered and 35-40% placement achieved. It has all India reach with 12 x Army Welfare Placement Nodes (AWPNs) and 47 x Army Welfare Placement Satellite Nodes (AWPSNs). AWPO has exclusive web portal exarmyplacement.com for online activities and to meet prospective employers manpower requirement with a updated and dynamic database.

2.  About 1200 Officers and 50,000 Personnel Below Officers Rank (PBOR) retire from the Army every year. They constitute a well trained, self motivated and highly skilled work force. The Officers generally retire in their early fifties and the men in the age group of 35 – 40 years. Being in the prime years of their life and having been groomed over the years with a result oriented culture, these Veterans seek avenues to rehabilitate themselves in a second career.

How can I download blank AWPO registration form?
Ans. On the Home page, we have provided a link for downloading blank AWPO registration forms titled ‘Download AWPO Registration Form’ under heading ‘JobSeeker Section’. Click on the link to download and have it printed.

What documents are to be submitted to AWPO at the time of registration?
Ans. The following documents are to be submitted to AWPO at the time of registration:

Officer
(a) AWPO Registration Form duly affixed with photograph – Two Copies
(b) Photocopy of PPO/Retirement Order/Release Order/Discharge Documents- One Copy (duly attested).
(c) Payment of Rs 750/- towards Registration Charges.
(d) E-mail a soft copy of your latest resume to our e-mail ID [email protected] or send the same in a CD. The resume should be in MS- Word format. Please restrict your resume upto three A4size pages in black & white color without photograph. Mention your personal No with suffix or Temporary AWPO Number while forwarding your CV.

JCOs

Note: Registrants who are not willing to pay online, are required to send registration fee in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Army Welfare Placement Organisation” payable at “New Delhi” for the amount specified for each rank.

Who are eligible to register on the AWPO website as a candidate?
Ans. The following persons are eligible for registering with AWPO / Placement Nodes and Placement Cells:

VETERANS
Retired Army Personnel, who have retired from the Indian Army after completing the age of superannuation.
Retiring Indian Army Personnel, who can apply one year prior to their superannuation.
Personnel granted premature retirement other than those on disciplinary grounds.
Permanent low medical category persons being boarded out.
Short Service commissioned officers released from the Army.

VEERNARIS (WIDOWS) / WIDOW WARD
Widows of Army Personnel.
One Ward of the Widow of Army Personnel.
DEPENDENTS
Legitimate born child whether son or daughter of serving/ retired Army personnel.
Legitimate born child of serving/ retired Territorial Army/ DSC personnel.
Spouse of the serving/ retired Army personnel.
Spouse of the serving/ retired Territorial Army/ DSC personnel.

What is the procedure for registration on the AWPO Website as a candidate? 
Ans. Registering on the site is a 3 step process, viz
(a) Creating an User ID – This is the initial step where you are required to fill up a single page form. On successful filling up of the form, you will get a User-id and Password, with which you can login to the site and complete the 2 nd and 3 rd steps.

(b) Filling up of relevant AWPO Registration Form – After you have successfully created the User ID, you are required to select the relevant category,viz Officer, JCO, OR, Widows / Widow Ward or Dependent from the options given at the end of SELECT CATEGORY page. Depending on the category chosen, the AWPO Registration Form, relevant to the category would be displayed. Fill up the fields in the AWPO Registration Form. Filling up of mandatory fields (displayed with an *) is essential.  After you have filled up the AWPO Registration Form, an automatic resume is created and saved with your AWPO profile. Candidates also have an option to submit their separate resume if so desired. Candidates also have an option to upload their picture (Photograph) in JPEG or GIF format along with resume.

(c) Filling of payment details- You can pay registration fee on the website for the amount specified for each rank. After you have successfully submitted the Registration Form system directs to the online payment Page, where you can pay the registration fee through Credit/ Debit Card. After completion of payment process, your registration with AWPO is done and you would be allotted a AWPO Registration No. however to this point the registration is provisional and subject to authentication by AWPO on receipt of registration documents.

How can I create & manage my account on the AWPO website?
Ans. Creating a registration id on AWPO is a simple 3 step procedure. As soon as the account is created on AWPO, a “My Page” section is created for the candidate where he can search/ apply jobs, track sponsorship and manage other folders that have been personalised for him. These “My Pages” are thus a one stop reckoner for the candidate.

Why should I remember my AWPO Login ID & Password? 
Ans. Your AWPO user-id is your passport for using the services of www.exarmynaukri.com. Therefore, it is essential that you remember both the user-id as well as the password.

What is the procedure for retrieval in case I have forgotten my AWPO password?
Ans. You can retrieve the Password for your login ID by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ link given at the login corner. In order to retrieve your password you need to answer the reminder question specified in your login form. Once you have entered the correct answer, system would display your password.

Why did I get and error message saying “login Session Expired”?
Ans. In case after logging in, the page that comes shows the message- ‘Login session expired’, it may be because you have stayed on that page for an indeterminable long period of time, viz either 30 or 45 mins, without browsing any other window. This may lead to your being logged out of the session automatically and you would be required to login again.

How can I change my login registration details? 
Ans. Login registration details can be changed by going into the ‘My Pages” section. Click on the link ‘Edit User ID Form’ and make the required changes therein

What is the “My Page” section and what is its usefulness ? 
Ans. My Page is an personalised webpage created for the candidates after he registered on AWPO website. My Page hosts all facilities available to the candidate on AWPO website such as upload Registration Form and Fee, Post / Update Resume and Photograph, Job search etc.

In case the user-id that I want is not available, what other options do I have?
Ans. While filling out the registration form, in case the user-id of your choice is not available, you can search for an alternative id simply by clicking on the ‘Check Availability’ button provided therein.

How can I make changes to my AWPO Registration Form? 
Ans. As of now you can not directly update or modify the particulars in the registration form. However you may approach your concerned Placement Node for necessary changes in registration form.

After submission of AWPO Registration Form, a Temporary No is being allotted. What is this Temporary Number?
Ans. After submission of AWPO Registration Form, you are first allotted a Temporary Number. This is the Number that you can quote in all correspondence that you make with AWPO before a Permanent AWPO Number is allotted to you.

What is AWPO Registration Number?
Ans. After submission of Registration Form and Payment on the site, you would be allotted AWPO Registration Number. This is the Number that you can quote in all correspondence that you make with AWPO or concerned Placement Node.

What is the total time frame for AWPO Registration Form authentication by AWPO?
Ans. After the receipt of all relevant documents and payment by AWPO, it would take 4-5 working days to authenticate data.

Modes of payment of Registration Fee? 
Ans You have the two options to pay registration fee:
Online Payment – Paying your registration fee online is quick, easy and secure. It allows you to pay fee through Credit Card / Debit Cardon the website. It also makes easier to process your registration so you receive your registration No. and receipt immediately on completion of process.

Offline Payment – You can submit your Registration Fee in form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Army Welfare Placement Organisation’ payable at ‘New Delhi’ for the amount specified for each rank:

How can I pay my registration fee online?
Ans. After submitting your Registration Form system directs to Payment Page, where you can pay the applicable Registration Fee through your Credit Card or Debit Card.

My online Payment Process is In-Complete! How should I proceed now?
Ans. In order to recommence with payment process visit to your My Page section and click on the link ‘Re-Payment’. It will direct you to the payment page, here you can pay your registration fee.

How can I activate my registration online? I have already registered with AWPO, how can I access my details on AWPO website?
Ans. Already registered candidate willing to activate their registration online on AWPO website are required to do online activation of the Registration.
