Please find enclosed herewith a correction slip regarding correction in para 9(b) of Chapter V of RPF Establishment Manual, 2019 regarding assessment of vacancies/eligibility criteria in respect of promotion, which is self explanatory.

CORRECTION SLIP-5

Para 9(b) of Chapter V of Establishment Manual may be deleted and the following may be inserted as under:

Para 9(b): For all selections under rule 70, except for the post of Inspector (IPF), all the candidates are to be called for the selection who have already completed and are completing the residency period
prescribed for that post within the next 12 months from the date of nomination of DPC, subject to condition that they shall be promoted only on the date of completion of residency period of that rank, subject to the availability of vacancy, DAR & Vigilance clearance.
