Respected Madam,
The Staff Side of the NC JCM have demanded that the expenditure towards dental treatment like implantation of teeth and fixation of Dentures to serving and Retired Central Government Employees arc not being reimbursed. Due to which the serving employees and pensioners have to spent huge moncy from their pocket. Therefore the Staff Side demanded that Advanced Dentures and implantation of Teeth etc may be included in the list of CGHS Treatment /Procedure List. Cabinet Secretary directed that if any essential Dental Treatment is left out the Ministry of Health may explore the possibility to cover it.
In view of the above your good self is requested to kindly consider the fact that implantation of Teeth & Fixation of Denture are essential for maintaining a normal life and hence both these items may by brought under the CGHS approved procedures / items.
