Subject: Opening of special counter for filing returns of Income-reg:-
In view of extension of due date for filing of return of Income from 31st July, 2013 to 5th August. 2013 vide CBDT’s Order under section 119 of IT Act in F.No 225/117/2013/ITA.II dated 31.7.2013. I am directed to request that special arrangements be made for accepting the returns of income from 01.08.2013 to 05.08.2013 (including 3rd and 4th August, being Saturday and Sunday, respectively) to facilitate the tax payers to file their returns.
