ADDENDUM
Subj: Transfer of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) on Administrative/Vigilance Ground- reg.
In continuation of this office OM of even number dated 21.10.2019, wherein the guidelines for transfer of Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) on Administrative/Vigilance Grounds were issued, the following modifications are hereby made to Para 2(D):-
(v-a) ABPM/Dak Sevak (Level-2) to BPM (Level-1) in TRCA Slab2.
(v-b) Dak Sevak in RMS units to BPM/ABPM/Dak Sevak in Postal units in the same TRCA slab.
(v-c) BPM/ABPM/Dak Sevak in Postal units to Dak Sevak in RMS units in the same TRCA slab.
Note: The transfer of ABPM/Dak Sevak/Dak Sevak (RMS) to BPM (Level- 1) under the above provisions shall be permitted only on administrative grounds and not on vigilance grounds.
(viii) [Modified as follows]:
While transferring an ABPM/Dak Sevak/Dak Sevak (RMS) to the post of BPM (Level-1), the GDS must fulfill the prescribed educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria as specified by the Department from time to time, and shall undergo the mandatory training prescribed for BPM.
ix. Repealed.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
