Attention is invited to Railway Board’s letters under reference (1) and (ii) vide which instructions were issued to Railway Recruitment Boards regarding provision of replacement panels to Railways/PUs and review of standby candidates to be called for document verification and medical.
2, In this regard, the decision has been reviewed and it has been decided that no replacement panels are to be given against non-joining/resignation/demise of the selected candidates for appointment to various Group ‘G’ posts of levels2 and above. This decision has been taken in view of the fact that recruitment for such posts are being done annually.
3. This instruction shall be applicable from CEN -01/2024 onwards to all open market recruitments for Group ‘C’ posts in Level-2 and above
4. The following shall be exempted from the above decision:-
- Filling up of vacancies by Zonal Railways/PUs from: standby candidates of CEN-01/2018, CEN-03/2018, and CEN -02/2019 for which instructions were issued vide letter under ref (iii).
5. All Zonal Railways, Production Units and Railway Recruitment Boards are advised to take necessary action accordingly.
